Since 1970 Arcosanti has been underconstruction in the high desert of Arizona. This section provides some background and history of Arcosanti.

Paolo Soleri
Born in Turin Italy in 1919, Paolo Soleri is responsible for inventing the concept of an Arcology.

Cosanti Foundation
In 1956, Paolo Soleri and his late wife, Colly, incorporated the Cosanti Foundation, a not-for-profit educational organization.
