Space Arcology:
the idea of arcology has, from the beginning, been linked with
the goal of human inhabitation of outer space.
Complexity, miniaturization, frugality, inwardness, interdependence,
ecological balance, 3-dimensionality -- all principles of arcological
design -- are all necessary characteristics for a space habitat.
The space designs remain a stunning proposition of a possible human
future.
